After watching the extras to the first Hatchet, I saw a second was made, so watched it online before buying, and have to say this is a great sequel! The change in Crowley's makeup is also clearly different and it was not as good.

Vivo. November 2011 I enjoyed this movie all the time and I hope to see it again - uncut again! Victor Crowley didn't look so real, but the cast did a great job. I love Hatchet, I think it one of best slasher movies to come out in the last few years.

You get the usual screaming "dead men walking" running through swampy forests chased by some deformed, indestructible chap, but though we have seen it all before, you cannot help yourself cracking open a Lager and eating some chip butties, and looking for which victim gets the best mutilating, and who is the (usually female) survivor, which set's up nicely the next instalment. There's no clue on If they decide to treat it as an R, so children are allowed with older guardians, then it's a failure, and undermines the MPAA in a counter-productive fashion.

Unlike the first film, most of the characters are unlikeable so who cares if they get slaughtered?

The first movie was humorous, did not take itself too serious and had characters that while stereotypical for a horror movie, you cared about most of them. Allerdings diese Version hier auf Amazon Video besser nicht gucken da man sonst viel verpasst.

I always look forward to a good debate. Now I know why it should be cut from the MPAA to get an R-rating. The story expands upon and strengthens the first film and leaves you wanting oh so much more Victor Crowley. label because they know full well that children can, and will, be admitted to them).If films with the NC-17 rating are widely viewed by adults across the US, the MPAA will no longer be able to use the label to marginalise material they don't find "appropriate".

Summary & Details. Danielle had the worst southern accent I've ever heard in my life, and I could laugh it off if it wasn't for the fact that Tamara had a great accent, and literally nailed the character.

They also spend a lot more time in this film establishing the lore and the characters which was also good. A movie like this requires a certain amount of bad acting but not too much, and these actors were good enough to deliver.
